Vision Behind the Vision:

We are in the last days. The time for flaky, superficial, non-effective worship has expired. God is seeking those who will worship Him in spirit and truth. The Lord is challenging us to go beyond what we’re used to offering so that we can truly and eternally benefit and build the Body of Christ. With His leading, I would like to cultivate a new breed of “praise dancers”! Free R.E.I.G.N. will be known for how God reigns in and around us as well as His rain that accompanies us. So that God can have free reign wherever we go, we will remain yielded to His leading.

Free REIGN will be exclusive to those who are in good standing and active in the FICI vision. They must honor The 10 Commandments of Leadership in their daily lives and live a lifestyle of prayer and fasting. All dancers will be required to successfully complete a prerequisite course before being able to minister in dance. This will help ensure a level of commitment.

The curriculum will include lessons on Foundation of Faith, Excellence, Our Temples as Instruments, Acceptable Worship, and Thorough Preparation. There will be continued education via courses, assignments, workshops, field trips, and labs. Labs will be projects assigned to small groups or individuals that will be presented in recital form before an audience. We will rehearse/meet weekly and have a bible-based gathering monthly.

I believe that with His anointing, we will be well-equipped to evangelize and communicate rhema through the dance. He will also be preparing us to host dance workshops for the community so that the children in the neighborhood can benefit from Spirit-filled, like-interest mentoring. Once or twice a year, the community dancers could perform at a crusade or the like. This will bring parents, families, and friends out to be exposed to God’s Love Freedom Church style.

Not only would Free R.E.I.G.N. mentor the community, but the adult dancers will also take an active role in mentoring the youth dancers. This will increase the level of accountability, both for the adults and the youth, which will do wonders for quality assurance!

The birthing of this ministry has been a long time coming but I know that it was for such a time as this! We will be the worshippers God is seeking. Free R.E.I.G.N. -  a dance ministry where God can do just that.
